Less is more, with minimalism

What Is Minimalism?

Many people think that minimalism is living life with the least items possible. To do so, they have to own less than 100 items, be very frugal and eco-friendly, never buy anything, etc. These are stereotypes. Although some might be true, minimalism is not a concept where one needs to abide by all the rules in order to be a minimalist.

Minimalism is rather a way of life. A lifestyle that focuses on the possessions, relationships, and goals that are most important to you. By focusing on what is important, your life will be and feel more meaningful.

" Minimalism is a tool to rid yourself of life’s excess in favor of focusing on what’s important—so you can find happiness, fulfillment, and freedom. - The Minimalists "

The Minimalists

The Minimalist is a blog created by Joshua Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus. They are both advocates of minimalism - living a meaningful life with less stuff as they say.

Joshua recently shared a " Tour my minimalist apartment." Looking at the pictures, his apartment seems very empty. However, at second glance, you can feel a sense of warmth and happiness.
